The Audio Pronunciation Guide

The Understanding the Language of Medicine course includes an interactive tool to help the user better learn the terms they are studying.  At the end of each Unit there are numerous audio pronunciations of medical terms spoken by a medical student.  Allowing the user to listen to each word enables them to hear the correct pronunciation.

The user would simply click on the speaker button .  After clicking on the speaker button the user will be asked if they want to open or save the file.  The user can simply choose to open the file.  After opening the file they will hear the word pronounced.  From here the user can play the pronunciation of the word as many times as necessary.

The meaning of each word is listed after the speaker button.  This enables the student to read the meaning of the word while listening to it being pronounced.

Listening to the medical student pronounce each word will strengthen the user/students ability to communicate in the field.

To listen to the pronunciation guide the user will need to have Real Player or Win Amp.  Real Player is downloadable free off the internet while Win Amp comes preinstalled on many systems.
