Understanding the Language of Medicine

MED 115 is an introductory course offered to students to develop an understanding of the history of medical terminology and pronunciation of medical terminology at the University of Missouri Kansas City.  This course is taught to entering college freshman enrolled in the BA/MD degree program offered at UMKC.  Understanding the Language of Medicine is geared towards helping incoming medical students learn and understand medical terminology.
